Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Operations Analyst will monitor current and newly developed operation policies, procedures, and systems among multiple departments or locations.  Additionally, analyzes current performance and procedures for improvement opportunities through standardization.

Primary responsibilities fall into the following categories:

  • Develops a thorough understanding of field operations in order to identify opportunities for improvement in current processes by performing both quantitative and qualitative analysis.  Clearly and effectively recommends process improvements to senior management.

  • Works well as both an autonomous contributor and member of a larger analytical team.  Works in concert with other departments on cross-functional projects.

  • Works well with deadlines and be flexible and nimble, adapting well to change in a dynamic business environment.Takes ownership of key performance metrics.  Evaluates performance against established metrics to determine acceptable levels of quality or efficiency for various business functions and units.

  • Manages the completion of difficult projects that are broad in nature by following general guidelines and using creativity and resourcefulness to meet established goals.  Recommends the final course of action among several alternatives for enhancements to operational policies, procedures, and systems.

  • Prepares and delivers the required training to facilitate changes in business policy, procedures, and system implementations.

Skills - Experience and Requirements:

A successful Senior Operations Analyst will have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, preferably in Math, Finance and Computer Information Systems; or Associate's degree (A.A.) and two plus years of experience; and four plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Excel and Access proficiency

  • SQL and Visual Basic not required, but a plus

  • Strong data intelligence

  • Analytical mind

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
